October 2026 Dividend Income

As I'm writing this blog post, it's currently Tuesday, October 27th. The temperature here in Central Wisconsin is set to reach a high of 59 degrees Fahrenheit later today. For this time of year, that's to be expected.

With that aside, I will be quickly recapping my net dividend income for October 2026 with the month almost entirely in the books. Let's dive into it!

Net Dividends Topped $400

In October 2026, I will have received $403.02 in net dividends (including ADR fees for GSK). This was up 12.2% over the $359.31 in net dividends collected in July 2026. Much of this was driven by the timing of NVIDIA's dividend payment and recent sales/purchase activity in my portfolio.

Compared to the $278.00 in net dividends in October 2025, my net dividends soared 45% over the year-ago period.

Within my taxable Robinhood account, I received $289.14 in net dividends from 20 companies. The company count of dividend payers decreased by one, which was due to the loss of income from Rexford Industrial Realty (sold in July 2026), Coca-Cola (also sold in July 2026), and FedEx (sold in August 2026). The timing of NVDA's dividend payment was an addition to the dividend payer list in October 2026. In terms of income volume, the first-time dividend payment from Hamilton Lane (HLNE) also helped.

In my Robinhood IRA portfolio, I collected $69.34 in net dividends from seven companies. The timing of NVDA's dividend payment and the purchase of one share of Royal Gold (RGLD) fueled much of the growth.

Within my Fidelity solo 401k account, I received $36.41 in net dividends from five companies. The timing of NVDA's dividend payment and the addition of HLNE to the portfolio were the key drivers.

Finally, I collected $8.13 in net dividends from two companies (Philip Morris International and Altria Group) in my Webull portfolio.

Concluding Thoughts:

Backing out the Novo Nordisk dividend paid in April, my net dividends reached a record high in October 2026 for the first month of a quarter. Through the first 10 months of 2026, my net dividends have surged 29.3%. With the final push to close out 2026, I believe that God's grace and my continued capital deployment can keep the growth rate in net dividends in the high-20% range.

Discussion:

How was your October 2026 for dividend income?

Did you receive any first-time dividends during the month as I did with HLNE?

Thanks for reading and I look forward to your comments below!
